Top 10 Content Types for SEO, Per Your Digital Marketing Company: Part 1 of 2

They give you a chance to include keywords along with media like images and video, and they provide great value to readers. A long form article is focused on telling a story, providing detail, and perhaps persuading. As such, length is not considered an issue. These are ideal for the inclusion of keywords, links, and additional media, so there’s plenty to appeal to search engines. The length might scare away some readers, but others will be searching for the exact detailed information that you’re providing.

 

Content Type 5: Guides

Guides are similar to long form articles, but with more of a focus on explaining how to do something, how something works, or what your options are for a specific goal. These are a resource for people, which makes them very valuable for the subset of searchers that are looking for a how-to guide on your topic. You can use the content directly on a page or post, or compile it into a PDF that can be downloaded.
